Use popular brands of body-care products, cosmetics, household cleaners, room fresheners, pesticides, herbicides and such with reckless abandon. Don’t bother to educate yourself with valuable resources such as the Environmental Working Group with its cosmetic safety database, household cleaning products review, water quality reports and list of foods that are highest in pesticide residues. You’d rather be in denial. Also, allow wastes to build up in the colon, liver and other organs. Congestion and stagnation are always ready companions to become unhealthy.
4. Lack of Oxygen
Forget the importance of exercise, deep breathing and movement to increase circulation to oxygenate the cells. After all, lack of oxygen is seen in many diseases including cancer. And, to cut down on the lung’s capacity, don’t forget to smoke and breathe in plenty of substances that fill the air from toxins mentioned in #3.
5. Disregard Emotions and Stress
Let it all hang out. If you are getting angry, go with it. If negative emotions are how you are feeling, don’t suppress or address them. Do not seek viable, healthy solutions to problems or sharpen your gifts and talents to serve others; these are not priorities. Let the cares of the day fully occupy your time and attention.

Knowing how the body maintains homeostasis and what to do when it needs support are not your concern. It doesn’t matter that finding the cause and addressing it is paramount to the cure. It’s more convenient and less work to pop a pill to suppress symptoms. Okay, more symptoms surface with this approach, but there are more pills for those.
